Roof shapes
A great variety of roof styles ensures that you will find the Solarlux glass house which blends in well with the architecture of your house. We design and build the roof structure which is best for your requirements.

Material
Aluminium
The SDL Atrium and Ambition glass canopies are built with long-lasting, weather-resistant aluminium and allows for original designs.
Timber
The SDL Aura roof system with its “SVL Oregon Pine“, specially treated, laminated timber having great strength and with an interesting texture, is impressive. Of course, you can also go for spruce, the “classic“ choice. Both types of timber are, of course, sourced from certified sustainable forests and are protected from the weather by aluminium cladding on the outside of the roof.

Colours
With a high-grade coating of aluminium (RAL, DB, anodising) or furniture quality multi-layer paint, a large range of colours are available.
Stress analysis / Planning application.
Depending on the region, you may need to submit a planning application for your Solarlux glass house. If requested, we can submit the planning application for you and can also take responsibility for all the site management, including co-ordination with other trades.
