Solarlux offers the SDL Atrium patio roof, which is similarly made of high quality aluminium and available in monopitch and pitched roofs. It is optionally available with or without an overhang.The patio roofs offer very effective protection from rain and falling leaves in exposed locations.

The SDL Aura monopitch roof is characterized by its special wood/aluminium materials combination. The interior features high quality, longitudinally glued Oregon Pine laminated wood (FSC-certified), which gives the roof its unmistakable appearance and makes it approx. 30% more stable than with conventionally used gluelam.
Powder-coated, rounded aluminium sections on the exterior offer structural protection from the weather so that the wood is cared for long-term without any great care requirements. The facet-rich wood construction creates a homely ambience in the interior. The rafters, eaves and posts of all three patio roofing systems can be reinforced with steel to create extra architectural freedom of design and particularly large overhangs. The construction remains as filigree as ever.

Patio roofs can be extended to glasshouses

Vertical glazing can be added to all Solarlux patio roofing systems to create glasshouses – even at a later date. The original patio roof can thus be transformed into a filigree, customised glasshouse for complete protection against the elements. Both the slide-and-turn system and the tried-and-tested glass folding façade from the manufacturer are perfect glazing solutions for the patio roofs. Both solutions can be slid or folded to the side completely or partially depending on current requirements and locked in place where draughts disturb your comfort. Closing the façades completely allows you to weather almost all weather conditions as a turn of the hand creates an instant comfortable glass oasis. As soon as the weather clears up, the glazing can be opened and parked at the side in no time at all. The outdoor character of the patio is back in the blink of an eye.
